<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing medium and printed matter having forgery preventing properties which enable easy discrimination of a forgery with the naked eye even when it is a relatively inexpensive note with value used in large numbers and discarded, such as a commutation ticket, and which causes no problem of the cost and is hard to forge. SOLUTION: The printing medium having forgery preventing properties is constituted of a base, a light-colored printed layer printed on the base and a transparent or semitransparent pearl printed layer provided at least in a part of the light-colored printed layer. The printed matter has arbitrary information formed on the surface of the pearl printed layer of the medium.</p> |
