<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a styrene resin having a wide range of conditions of thermoforming of an extrusion foamed sheet for containers excellent in mechanical strength, to provide an extrusion foamed sheet obtained from the resin, and a container formed from the sheet. SOLUTION: There are provided are a styrene resin having a weight-average molecular weight of 200,000-500,000, a weight-average molecular weight/number- average molecular weight ratio of 2.0-3.5, a branch number of 0.6-2.0 at an absolute molecular weight of 1,000,000, and a content of a component of a molecular weight of at most 50,000 of 5.0-12.0, an extrusion foamed sheet formed from the styrene resin, and a container thermoformed from the sheet.</p> |
