PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging device for an electric product by which a letter of guarantee can be put in/taken out without peeling or cutting a sealing tape even for a packaging box wherein the dimension from the sealing tape at the center of the top surface to the side surface is smaller than the width dimension of the letter of guarantee. SOLUTION: A throw-in hole 16 from which the letter of guarantee 14 is thrown into a packaging box 11 is provided at a location between the sealing tape 19 at the approximate center of the top surface of this packaging box 11 and the side surface of the packaging box 11. In this case, the width dimension of the throw-in hole 16 is smaller than the width direction of the letter of guarantee 14, but the peripheral length is set to be twice or more of the width dimension of the letter of guarantee 14. Therefore, when a packaged commodity is handed to a patron at a store, a specified procedure is taken for the letter of guarantee 14, and the letter of guarantee 14 is re-thrown in the packaging box 11 through the throw-in hole 16. In this case, the sealing tape 19 does not need to be peeled or cut, and the workability is improved.
