PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a booming noise and vibration in a lock-up operation to allow lock-up control from a low speed area, so as to enhance a fuel consumption and drivability. SOLUTION: The booming noise and the vibration in the lock-up control are prevented by a torque fluctuation detecting means for detecting excess and deficiency of torque generated in an engine, a generated torque control means for controlling the generated torque in the engine in response to the excess and the deficiency of the torque in the condition of the maximum coupling rate of a clutch, and a torque transmission factor control means.
