PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge payment system capable of preventing impossibility of drawing by attracting a customer's attention when outstanding balance of a customer's bank account is under an amount of charge which is scheduled to be drawn. SOLUTION: Charge claim data of the present month for customer's debt to be paid are calculated, transmitted to a host computer 2 of a bank via a network 5 by an operation terminal 1, the host computer 2 records the charge claim data in an account information management data base 4, updates information of the applicable account in the account information management data base 4 when transaction of the balance in accordance with withdrawal of cash by the customer is received from an ATM 3 via the network 5, raises a flag to indicate insufficient balance in a transaction result record in the case of 'new balance data' < 'charge claim data' and transmits the record to the ATM 3. The ATM 3 attracts the customer's attention to the impossibility of drawing of the charge which is scheduled to be drawn by printing the flag by changing colors in a detailed statement of the transaction when the flag is confirmed in the transaction result record. |
