PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic camera system that has a demonstration function utilizing a built-in memory in a camera body and can especially enhance exhibition effects in stores. SOLUTION: This system relates to the electronic camera, having demonstration function effective for exhibition in a store. The electronic camera stores a photographed image in a prescribed low image quality mode to an SDRAM 30, which is an internal memory in the case of a demonstration mode which does not use a memory card 31. Furthermore, the electronic camera has a demonstration REC display function that displays an expected recording time of the photographed image, in a normal mode onto the screen of an LCD monitor 43.
