PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating and cooking device having an infrared ray sensor capable of accurately detecting the temperature of a food. SOLUTION: The heating and cooking device comprises a magnetron 22 to feed microwave in a heating chamber; an infrared ray unit 1 having an infrared ray sensor and a sensor case and situated such that infrared rays radiated from a food can be detected from an obliquely above position through the detecting hole of the heating chamber; and a cooling fan 35 situated at the lower part of the body so that air flows through a space between the infrared ray sensor unit 1 and the heating chamber.
