PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the visually handicapped person to safely pass through a dangerous place such as a crosswalk, an underground passage, stairs a difference in level, and a station platform by preventing any danger. SOLUTION: Pictures photographed by a monitor camera 1 set at the upper part of stairs are processed by a controller 3, and when the presence of the visually handicapped person being the person whose walk should be supported is recognized by the controller 3, voice for warning to inform the visually handicapped person of the presence of any dangerous place or voice for guidance to let the visually handicapped person to know how to safely pass through and by-pass the dangerous place is outputted from a loudspeaker 2. |
