PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device which emits light with constant luminance while attaining the enhancing of luminescent efficiency and a luminous device and a display panel using the devices. SOLUTION: In pixels Aij of an EL(electroluminescent) display element, diodes elements Dij, organic EL elements OLij and capacitors Cij are provided. Cathodes of the diodes elements Dij, anodes of the organic EL elements OLij and electrodes of one sides of the capacitors Cij are electrically connected at common terminals Pij. The anodes of the diode elements Dij are connected to signal electrodes Sj. The electrodes of other side of the capacitors Cij are connected to scanning side electrodes Rci. The cathodes of the EL elements OLij are connected to scanning side Rsi. Forward directions of the diode elements Dij and the forward directions of the EL elements OLij are aligned. Then, currents flowing through the EL elements OLij are controlled by controlling voltages among the electrodes Rci and the electrodes Rsi. |
