PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device where the time for warming up is shortened and the number of paper on which the fixing process can be carried out continuously can be increased. SOLUTION: In the device, standard consumed power of a main heating source and an a sub heating source are set during an image forming action based on power that is allocated to the fixing device and it is constituted so that the main heating source is turned on full and the sub heating source is turned on by cut off control with the excess consumed power during the warming up.
