PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a residence capable of designing for improving the isolation from each room and making family communication easy by arranging a common used room facing to a plurality of rooms (children's room, etc.), adjacent to each other and facilitating plan design for a room used for sleeping and studying provided with a study room. SOLUTION: In a residence provided with space 1 used in common as a living room and a study room in a part of living space S of a building, two bed rooms 2 and 3 which entrance to and exit from the space 1 can be made through the space 1 are arranged.
