PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backlight device with color adjustment function and a liquid crystal display device with the backlight device. SOLUTION: A white light fluorescent tube 3W, a red light fluorescent tube 3R, a green light fluorescent tube 3G and a blue light fluorescent tube 3B each are arranged at both ends of a light-guide plate 1. The white light fluorescent tube is place at the nearest position to the light-guide plate 1. By adjusting brightness of these fluorescent tubes 3W, 3R, 3G, 3B individually with a lighting circuit, a decrease of brightness and a change in color balance due to deterioration of a fluorescent tube or the like can be corrected. |
