PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch device which can attain miniaturization without making a circuit cause dead short circuit. SOLUTION: A protrusion 56 is provided in a center of a backside of an operation knob 43, and a cut-off switch 41 which is a normally closed switch component is provided at a part corresponding to the protrusion 56 by the side of a switch body 11. When pushing operations of all of four directions of operating parts 46-49 in the operation knob 43 are carried out simultaneously, the protrusion 56 pushes on a cut-off switch 41, and intercepts between circuits on a wiring board 21, and prevents dead short circuit.
