PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently provide a physical distribution trader with physical distribution information while reliably securing contracted earnings that should be obtained for many contracted user vehicles. SOLUTION: This service information system is provided with an information center system 3 for collecting traffic flow information about road traffic and processing the traffic flow information into the physical distribution information that is effective to a physical distribution trader, and the center system 4 of the physical distribution trader for receiving the physical distribution information from the information center system and distributing the physical distribution information to on-vehicle devices 6 respectively mounted on a plurality of vehicles 5. The system 3 is provided with a protect processor 11a for distributing the physical distribution information only to on-vehicle devices 6 that are preliminarily allowed the distribution of the physical distribution information due to a contract with the information center system or performing protect processing that can be comprehended.
