STORE FRONT PAYMENT SYSTEM USING PORTABLE TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a store front payment system based on a portable terminal of high security eliminating the necessity of presenting a consumer's own card and inputting a pin number by allowing the consumer to execute payment operation by his (or her) own portable terminal. SOLUTION: When a consumer inputs his (or her) own identification(ID) information from an input means at the time of paying a charge in the store, a transmission means transmits the ID information to a computer in a settlement service center. The computer stores the sent ID information, identifies the sent ID information with registered ID information previously stored in a storage means and sends the payment information stored in the storage means together with the identified registered ID information to the store.
