PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode of a resistivity meter which can suppress time delays, before a correct resistivity of an electrolyte solution is measured when the resistivity changes, and can measure correct resistivity. SOLUTION: This electrode 1 of the resistivity meter has an inner electrode 2, an outer electrode 3, a support part 4 and a plate-shaped packing 8. The inner electrode 2 is formed into a columnar shape. The outer electrode 3 is formed into a circular tube shape. The support part 4 includes an inner electrode holder 10, an outer electrode holder 11 and a coil spring 9. The inner electrode holder 10 supports a base end part 2f of the inner electrode 2. The outer electrode holder 11 supports a base end part 3b of the outer electrode 3. The inner electrode 2 and the support part 4 are set to be relatively movable in the longitudinal direction of the inner electrode 2. The coil spring 9 urges both the inner electrode 2 and the support part 4 in a direction of bringing them closer to each other. The plate-shaped packing 8 is formed of a synthetic resin, having plastomer properties and is set between the inner electrode 2, and the support part 4. The plate-shaped packing 8 is in tight contact with both the inner electrode 2 and the support part 4.
