PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paperboard excellent in suitability for high-speed punching and dimensional stability and having good suitability for drawing ruled line. SOLUTION: This paperboard is characterized in that the porosity is 0.50-0.80 and Eb/Es value obtained by dividing flexural modulus (Eb) calculated from taper stiffness Ms according to JIS P-8125 measured in traveling direction of rolling by elastic modulus in tension (Es) measured in traveling direction of rolling is 1.2 to 2.8.
