PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radial ray detecting device of high resolution. SOLUTION: A member 4 limits the incident direction of radial rays made incident on an n-channel junction type field effect transistor(JFET) 1a. Protons 3a passing the member 4 collide with a junction part in the JFET 1a to generate a transient current on the output side of the JFET 1a, thereby causing voltage change at both ends of a shumt resistor 5. A high-pass filter comprising a filter capacitor 6 and a filter resistor 7 takes out only an AC component based on voltage change at both ends of the shumt resistor 5. This AC component is amplified by an amplifier 2 to output a pulse signal from the amplifier 2.
