PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary heat exchanger in which gas processing can be carried out stably by stabilizing the passing state of gas thereby suppressing pressure loss and pressure variation. SOLUTION: A large number of ventilation passages 2a are formed in the circumferential direction while being divided by a plurality of barrier walls 2B such that they can be rotary driven freely, a part of the large number of ventilation passages 2a is provided with a duct 6 which can supply gas, and a duct 8 which can exhaust gas passed through the ventilation passages 2a is provided oppositely to the supply duct 6 while holding the ventilation passages 2a between. In such a rotary heat exchanger, opening width of the supply duct 6 and the exhaust duct 8 with respect to the ventilation passages 2a is set equal to the width of integer number of the ventilation passages 2a plus one half pitch. |
