PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-reliability electronic component mounting apparatus superior in stability of mounting accuracy by reducing the carry back of components or the mounting position deviation due to static electricity charged on the components. SOLUTION: A means 8a is provided for removing the static electricity from an electronic component 3 held with a vacuum nozzle 2 in a passage for moving the electronic component 3 from its sucking position α to a mounting position β. The means 8a is constituted so as to blow ion air 10 on the vacuum nozzle 2.
