PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide frame members and a sash which facilitate assembling thereof into a frame and stiles and rails, and facilitate handling thereof when assembled. SOLUTION: The frame members 7, 17, 19, and 21 and the sash 1 are component members forming the frame 9 or the stiles and rails 69, 71, and 73 which are provided with a section 23 on an outdoor side and a wooden material 27 on an indoor side. The frame 9 or the stiles and rails 69, 71, and 73 are formed by fixing thereto the extruded shapes 23 and 25 on one side and the wooden material 27 on the other side in one body. A joint portion 91 between the extruded shapes 23 and 25 and the wooden material 27 is obtained by engaging a number of hook members 95a formed on the one side with a number of flexible engaging members 95b formed on the other side.
