NONCONTACT DATA CARRIER DEVICE AND AUXILIARY ANTENNA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary antenna which can extend the communication distance of a noncontact data carrier and a noncontact data carrier device which has the auxiliary antenna. SOLUTION: The noncontact data carrier device 10 has the noncontact data carrier 12 equipped with an antenna coil and the auxiliary antenna 14 for the noncontact data carrier 12. The auxiliary antenna 14 has a conductive sheet 15 which is arranged outside the same or nearly the same position with the innermost periphery of the antenna coil. The area of one surface of the conductive sheet 15 is larger than the area that the antenna coil surrounds. The conductive sheet 15 is arranged nearby the antenna coil of the noncontact data carrier 12.
