PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply realize a system for an information providing service that can properly use visual information and voice information in common depending on contents of information. SOLUTION: This invention provides a simple communication method and system for employing a wireless communication unit and using character/image information and voice information in common that employs an information providing service center 1 provided with a voice terminal server 5 that records voice information along a general voice channel to control communication, with a web server 3 compatible with the Internet 7, and with a connection/switch unit 4 that is interposed between the server 5 and the web server 3, properly converts data formats of the both, temporarily stores required communication identification information and has a function of transferring the information to the server as a retrieval key in the case of carrying out a service, and also employs a mobile phone 8 that is connected to a voice reproduction adaptor 10 and used by a user to ask the center 1 for the retrieval of voice information via the Internet 7. The center 1 converts the retrieved voice information into digital data that can be communicated on the Internet 7, transmits the digital data to the mobile phone 8, and the mobile phone 8 reproduces the digital data into the voice information via the voice reproduction adaptor 10. |
