PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bridge more inexpensively realizable than a conventional earthquake resistance reinforced bridge and superior in terms of safety. SOLUTION: In a cable stayed bridge 31 having main beams 33 and a main tower 32 for supporting the main beams 33 via cables 35, weight of the main tower 32 is adjusted by additional mass 36, 36, etc., so that a vibrational response of the main tower 32 at earthquake time becomes minimum.
