The stack of connected plastic sleeves for newspapers which preferably have an additional pocket (5), e.g. for a CD, has a hanging strip (13) at the top of each sleeve, above the opening (2). The sleeves can be separated along the top of each hanging section. Independent claims are included for: (a) a continuous process for making the stack; and (b) a machine for producing it.
