PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer and a print server for allowing a user who removes a failure when the picture formation of a printer is stopped due to the failure to preferentially execute the print job of the user. SOLUTION: When the picture formation of a printer is stopped due to any failure, the client computer is informed of the failure based on the order of the reception of print jobs, or the input of user ID information for selecting a specific print job from among plural print jobs is accepted, and the print job corresponding to the accepted user ID information is preferentially executed at the time of resuming the picture formation. |
