PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a problem such that the number of parts gets large and cost rises by providing a mechanism for absorbing shock when the traveling of the blade of a shutter device is terminated. SOLUTION: This shutter device is provided with shutter blade groups 4 and 5 capable of traveling from either a superposed state or a developed state to the other, blade driving members 2 and 3 driving the shutter blade groups to travel, and a driving spring 13 whose 2nd spring end 13a becomes a driving action end for giving driving force to the blade driving member in a state such that a 1st spring end 13b is a fixed end. Then, the 2nd spring end becomes a fixed end and the 1st spring end becomes a braking action end for causing braking action on the blade driving member near a position where the driving of the traveling of the shutter blade group by the blade driving member is terminated.
