PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing method by which priority is placed onto data to be reproduced at the same time and reproduction of the data is limited in the lower priority order when the reproduction processing does not catch up with the data to be reproduced. SOLUTION: In the case of reproducing media information sets, the reproduction state of the media information sets is monitored and measurement information being a result of monitor is acquired in a step S04. In steps S06-S12, the reproduction of media information is limited on the basis of priority information denoting the priority of the media information sets read from a storage device in the step S01 and the measurement information being a monitor result of a reproduction state obtained in the step S04. That is, when the measurement information denotes that the reception speed is not in time, number of the media information sets to be reproduced is decreased and when the reproduction speed is in time, number of the reproduced media information can be increased.
