PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a complex laminated sensor element with high measuring accuracy of theλcharacteristic. SOLUTION: This complex laminated sensor element is provided with a first a second and a third electrochemical cell 2, 3 and 4, in which the second electrochemical cell 3 is used for ? specific gas concentration detection for a gas to be measured preprocessed by an oxygen pumping using the first electrochemical cell 2, the electromotive force difference between the gas to be measured and the reference gas using the third electrochemical cell 4. A pair of electrode 41 and 42 of the third electrochemical cell 4 are set on the same plane of the identical solid electrolyte plate 53, and the first electrochemical cell 2 and the third electrochemical cell 4 are set on different solid electrolyte plates 53 and 55.
