PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect adjoining shingles to each other with simple structure in a state to make it possible to stably ensure a connection state between the adjoining shingles even if either positive load or negative load is made to act on the shingles to be roofed. SOLUTION: The connection structure of shingles includes a tight frame 2 provided between rise sections 11 of the adjoining shingles 1 and 1 and a hold-down plate 3 screwed to the tight frame 2 so as to extend over between the upper ends of the rise sections 11 of the adjoining shingles 1 and 1. After the rise sections 11 are elastically deformed in the direction once separated from each other with roofing of shingles 1, engaged projectons 24 entered and engaged in engaged grooves 11e formed in the rise sections 11 by a spring are formed in the tight frame 2 at a roofing completion position. Hook sections 32 hooked on the side opposite to the side opposed to the tight frame 2 in the rise sections 11 are formed in the hold-down plate 3.
