[Also in Group XXVIII] In a fluid filter as claimed in the parent Specification and comprising one or more corrugated sheets 1 of filtering fabric e.g. woven cloth or wire gauge having its edges embedded in a surrounding frame 3 the latter is of moulded resilient or flexible material e.g. natural or synthetic rubber or a suitable synthetic resin e.g. polyvinyl chloride. The cloth or fabric is wound round or is attached to parallel spaced support rods 2 having their ends embedded in the frame 3 and the latter is clamped to a bracket 4 by a plate 5 and nut and bolt 8, 6.
