PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepping motor driving device which is highly reliable and operable with smaller power, and prevents a step out from occurring by reverse rotation when a stepping motor is started from its no current flowing state. SOLUTION: This is a stepping motor driving device which drives a stepping motor according to driving pulses of a step signal, and stops its flow of current after its stop. The driving pulses are provided with main pulses for driving the stepping motor, and stop position returning pulses being at least one pulse of an initial move after the no current flowing state made for returning to a stop position before the no current flowing state, and the frequency of the stop position returning pulses differ from that of the main pulses. |
