PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a deep map by converting coordinates with the simple setting of parameters and the simple operation of the four rules of arithmetic, reducing processing load, and speeding up the processing. SOLUTION: This navigation device is provided with an information-recording means 3 for storing data that is composed by two-dimensional coordinates and data regarding path guide information, a current position detection means 2 for detecting a current position, a display means 6 for displaying a map and path guide information on the map, a display control means 4 for controlling the display range and the path guide information of the map to be displayed on the display means, and a coordinates conversion means 4 that is controlled by the display control means, sets trapezoid conversion parameters for converting a two-dimensional rectangle to a trapezoid, and converts two-dimensional coordinates being stored in the information-recording means for displaying the map and the path guide information on the display means onto the two-dimensional coordinates, thus performing display by a perspective view based on simple trapezoid conversion. |
