PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a gap between a blade end face and a passage wall surface very small and constant even when the direction of a variable stator blade is varied. SOLUTION: In a turbine of a gas turbine in which the variable stator blade 6, a moving blade 8, and a fixed stator blade 9 are arranged in order from the upstream in a passage 1 formed between a hub side shroud 2 and a chip side shroud 3, the hub side blade end face 6a and the tip side blade end face 6b of the variable stator blade 6 are machined to a shape along a curve of the wall surface of the passage 1 to set clearance gaps Ca, Cb between the blade end faces 6a, 6b and the wall surface of the passage 1 very small. Eve when the direction of the variable stator blade 6 is varied, the clearance gaps Ca, Cb are kept very small and constant in the direction of the passage 1.
