PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink for an ink jet printer, improved in the dispersion stability. SOLUTION: The ink for an ink jet printer contains a pigment and an organic solvent, and it also contains a silicone graft polymer dispersed in the form of particles having a diameter of 0.01-0.3 μm in the organic solvent in such a manner that the polymer is adsorbed on at least a part of the outer surface of the pigment. The pigment used comprises an organic pigment and/or a carbon black. |
