A plastics plate (1) contains a circular hole (2) limited by four radial tongues (3) forming angles of 90 deg. with each other. Each tongue has two sections (4,4') through the plate, the sections being common for two tongues at their free end which defines the hole wall. In the free tongue ends is a cut-out formation (5) which accommodates a flange on the canula or injection needle fixture. The plate has recesses (6) in its periphery for engagement with heel formations on the inside of the cover, thus providing a non-rotatable connection with the cover. The cover also has a through hole aligned with that of the plate. When a canula or injection needle with its fixture is rotated in the hole, the edges of the tongues come into contact with each other (4'') and with the intermediary cover parts. This enables the canula or needle to be unscrewed from its holder or syringe in a continuous unscrewing movement. |
