PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate routing of CT for communication bus bar protection in a unit substation, and achieve the independence of a protection system in unit basis. SOLUTION: The protection system of the substation, consisting of a plurality of unit bus bars in which the respective unit bus bars are connected by the communication bus bar, is provided with a bus bar protection means R2 for protecting the respective unit bus bar on the unit basis, a communication bus bar protection means R4 for protecting the communication bus bar using a means (DO) of detecting the failure in the unit bus bar direction using the voltage of the bus bar and the bus bar communication current on the unit basis, and a means (DI) of detecting the failure in the communication bus bar direction, and a bus bar separation protection means R3 of detecting the failure continuance of the system connected to the unit bus bar using the means DI and the means DO to open the bus bar communication breaker. |
