PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device provided with such a heater that the time from when a heater is turned off to when the heater is completely turned on is shortened. SOLUTION: The device is characterized by that it is provided with the heater 3 that is built in a heating means and carries out heating control of the heating means by controlling lighting at a timing where voltage of an AC power source that is utilized for driving control of the image forming device is zero crossed by an oscillating cycle with one half of the cycle of the oscillating cycle as a unit and such a control is performed that the 'heater on' ratio of an 'on-off' duty ratio is increased with the passage of time while feeding of power to the heater is transited from 'continuous off' to 'continuous on'.
