PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical feeder for a flush toilet capable of sufficiently volatilizing a chemical to a surrounding space, dissolving a proper quantity of the chemical, and preventing the dilution of the chemical. SOLUTION: A coupling member 74 is outwardly coupled with a boss section 51, and a guide-out hole 71 is communicated with the through hole 52 of a support body 5 in a watertight state. A chemical vessel 7 is set on a feeder body 2 and arranged on the upper lid of the water storage tank of the water storage type flush toilet, then the chemical feeder 1 for the flush toilet is set to an operational state. The chemical with which a body 4 is impregnated is freely volatilized to the outside via vent ports 36 in this operational state. The water from a water discharge tap flows into the feeder body 2 from inflow opening sections 31 when flowing along the surface of the upper lid of the water storage tank, dissolves the chemical with which the body 4 is the impregnated to let it flow out from an outflow opening section 32, and lets if flow down into the water storage tank, and it is stored in it.
