摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary power source with high breakdown voltage, high capacity, high energy density, and high reliability in charging/discharging cycles at high temperature. SOLUTION: In the secondary power source having a positive electrode containing activated carbon, a negative electrode containing carbon capable of absorbing/releasing lithium ions, and an organic electrolyte containing the lithium ions, as the carbon included in the positive electrode, graphite base carbon whose spacing of (002) planes as determined by X-ray diffraction method is 0.334-0.337 nm covered with amorphous carbon is used.
