The pen used with a touch screen for input to a computer system has a stem in which the centre of mass is towards the tip section. The tip section is produced of a heavy material (2) that is bonded or screwed into the stem (11) . The tip section may be coated with a flexible plastic (7) that improves contact by the fingers of the hand.
