<p>A connector (4) for mounting a pair of cornice strips (2,3) to a wall is disclosed. The connector (4) comprises an element (9) having a front major surface (13) of concave configuration and a rear major surface (14) of convex configuration. The element (9) may comprise two portions (10, 11) extending at 90 degrees to each other for mounting over the corner (19) of the walls (20, 21). The connector (4) is sandwiched between the walls (20, 21) and the cornice strips (2, 3) mounted on the wall. The line of separation of adjacent strips is positioned over the front surface (13) of the connector (4) and the rear surface of both the strips (2, 3) are attached to the front surface of the connector across the full face thereof. A method of mounting a connector and cornice strips to the wall is also disclosed.</p> |
