The closure device (121) includes interlocking fastening strips (130, 131) and a slider (132). The fastening strips have a first end(127) and a second end (128). The slider has a first position when the slider is away from the first end, the slider has a second position when the slider is nearthe first end. The second position is elevated from the first position. In one embodiment, the fastening strips include a side rib (135, 136) that is elevated near a first end. The slider includes a separator that deoccludes the fastening strips. The elevated portion (137, 138) is disposed near the first end (127) to allow the separator to be raised above the fastening strips to prevent the separator from deoccluding the fastening strips.
