ENHANCED SYNTHESIS OF RACEMIC METALLOCENES

Chiral metallocenes are prepared by reacting a salt of an asymmetric bis(cyclopentadienyl)-moiety-containing ligand with a tertiary heteroaromatic amine adduct of a transition, lanthanide, or actinide metal halide in an organic solvent or diluent so as to produce said chiral metallocene.
