PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make various sensors unnecessary, which motors are used for realizing various sewing-machine functions such as halt at a predetermined position and the like and to solve problems of a sewing machine drive by a general servomotor such as a reverse rotation at a halt, a repulsive servo lock and the like. SOLUTION: Various sensors are made unnecessary by watching a current monitor signal, a deviation counter signal or the like which are equipped to a general servomotor and recognizing the change of the signals. A reverse rotation at a halt is prevented by clearing a deviation counter. The repulsion of a servo lock is weakened by giving a few drive direction.
