SOLUTION: This accumulating device for a sheet substance comprises a sheet substance holding means 14 arranged above an accumulation position P and holding at least a first one of accumulated X-ray films F1 once, and a drive means 16 to reliably drop the X-ray film F, held by the sheet substance holding means 14, on the accumulation position P by separating the sheet substance holding means 14 away from the sheet substance holding means 14.
