PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for shaping a tubular body which enables the tubular body having an optional wall thickness and height to be formed from a metallic plate. SOLUTION: A small-sized tubular body 5 is formed on the other side by pressing with a pressing tool formed in a predetermined shape from one.side of the metallic plate 1. Then, by pressing with the similarity pressing tool 4 having a slightly larger similarity shape than the pressing tool 4 from the opening 6 formed by pressing the pressing tool 4 from the opening 6 formed by pressing the pressing tool 4, a thickness in the vicinity of the opening 6 is shifted to the small sized tubular body 5, which is formed into a slightly larger similarity small tubular body 9. By repeating the similarity pressing process from one to several times, the small-sized tubular body 5 formed on the other side of the metallic plate 1 is gradually enlarged to form a tubular body 2 with a predetermined shape and height.
