PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new developer composition, which includes a phenolic derivative having a sulfonamide structure, the dispersions obtained through the atomizingly dispersion of which in water is excellent in storage stability and a heat sensitive recording material, which produces a high color developing density by the composition and has an excellent whiteness before recorded. SOLUTION: This developer composition includes at least one selected from the group consisting of at least one of compounds represented by general formula (1), a multivalent metal compound, an antioxidant and a reducer and the heat sensitive recording material including the developer composition. In the formula, X1 represents hydrogen, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group or a hydroxyl group, Z1 represents hydrogen or an alkyl group, and R1 represents an alkyl group which may have a substituent, or an aryl group which may have an substituent. |
