PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystallized glass that has a negative thermal expansion coefficient essential to the temperature compensation technology, low hysteresis of thermal expansion and is producible a low cost. SOLUTION: A main crystal, crystallinity, particle size of the crystalline of the crystallized glass are aβ-quartz solid solution or aβ-eucryptite solid solution, >=70 mass %, <=0.5μm, respectively. There is substantially no space or crack in a grain boundary. The thermal expansion coefficient at -40 to +100 deg.C is larger than -10×10-7/ deg.C in a negative quantity. The hysteresis of the thermal expansion in the above temperature range is <=10 ppm. |
