SUBSTANCE: method includes registration of drop of rectal temperature and ambient temperature, measurement of corpse thickness, construction of mathematical model, calculation and analysis of obtained temperature values. In case of dead body of newborn, measured additionally are circumference of head, chest and abdomen, length of dead body and its weight. Measurement of drops of said temperatures is carried out in two stages. At the first stage, measurements are carried out during at least two hours at the site of accident, and then, in morgue. Coefficient of heat exchange is additionally determined (external heat conduction under regional conditions) and average radius of corpse thickness for calculation. Dependence of temperature on time is determined and time of death is determined by comparison of corpse initial temperature with table temperature data.
